I’ve been in LA for the past week and am heading back to NYC tomorrow. So in the spirit of LA I thought I’d share a few photos of designers Max and Lubov Azria’s stylish Los Angeles home which was recently published in the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar. This chic couple are the creative forces behind the fashion brands BCBG, Max Azria and Herve Leger. Their glamorous home, located in LA’s Holmby Hills, was decorated with the help of designer Aly Daly and features a primarily neutral color palette of steely grays and off whites, infused with pops of…

Just spotted these very cool Louis XV style caned canopy chairs on Craigslist. Wish I had a place for these in my home or a fun decorating project to use them for…or an extra $3500 and a storage unit! My colleague Kathleen’s amazing home was featured on Apartment Therapy earlier this week! Her home has an eclectic, bohemian feel and incorporates a wonderful mix of antique and flea market finds. I especially love her bathroom with the vintage chest of drawers turned vanity that she refreshed with white paint and bronze pulls from Restoration Hardware. Click here to read more about her place and to view the full house tour on Apartment Therapy. Congrats Kathleen!

Calypso Home’s vignette probably had one of my favorite back stories. This room belongs to a young woman who just had her heart broken by her boyfriend. The space has …

Robert Abbey Genie Lamp from Lamps Plus So after contemplating table lamps for my living room I landed on this one. A single gourd style lamp with brass accents in a fun, pinkish plum color from Robert Abbey. As I’ve been redecorating my living room, I’ve been buying lots of pieces that are very traditional and feel a bit “mature.” So I thought these lamps would add jolt of color and a youthful flair to help balance out some of the more traditional pieces and make the space feel more age appropriate. I’m definitely going to change the shades…
