Cinnamon Spiced Nuts 4

I have a few super easy, go-to snack recipes that I have on deck when I’m entertaining at home and one of them are these yummy maple cinnamon spiced nuts. If I’m hosting a dinner these are great for people to nosh on before the meal is served and they also make the perfect little nibbles for a cocktail party. They’re crunchy, sweet and not too heavily candy-coated with a thin layer of sugary goodness that’s just right. These are also one of my favorite things to make because they’re deliciously fragrant and fill my home with the most amazing cinnamon-y sweet aroma! If you’re a guest at someone else’s soiree, you can make a large batch of these, fill them up in a mason jar with a ribbon around the lid and you’ll have an irresistible homemade hostess gift. Or, make a batch to have all to yourself and enjoy with a glass of champagne while you watch Netflix:-) Scroll down for the recipe!

MAPLE CINNAMON SPICED NUTS

Ingredients:

2 cups of your favorite nuts (I used raw, unsalted almonds & cashews)

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

2 tbsp coconut oil – mix with ingredients

1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350. Mix brown sugar together with cinnamon and nutmeg, set aside. Combine maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla together in a bowl. Add nuts and toss to coat. Sprinkle in sugar mixture and toss until nuts are coated. Add to a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in oven 15-20 minutes until golden brown, tossing once midway through to avoid burning. Enjoy!
