After much anticipation, LA based designer Ruthie Sommers’ new website has finally launched! Ruthie Sommers is a designer whose work I’ve admired ever since seeing her home featured in Domino’s premiere issue several years ago.

Sommers’ laid back approach to design exudes a sense of Southern comfort mixed with a bit of East coast elegance – no doubt an influence of her North Carolina upbringing combined with her post-college years spent in New York. A classic Sommers-designed space is quirky and colorful, blending the old and the new, the high and the low and always with a dash of unexpected whimsy thrown in for good measure.
