It’s a lazy Saturday at home for me and I’ve been online searching for a new duvet set for my bedroom. Williams-Sonoma Home and Bluefly both have some beautiful options but of course everything I like costs much more than I was hoping to spend! I’ve decided to just go for it and splurge because A: quality bedding will last much longer than cheaper bedding which makes the investment well worth it and B: I believe that bedding is one element of a bedroom that really dresses up the space. Even if you don’t have the finest furniture or accessories, amazing bedding will instantly make your room look more polished. I love the look of crisp white bed linens. I think the look is so timeless and elegant plus it will match any decor. Even though I’ll most likely go with white, I came across a couple of non-white styles that could also work nicely in my bedroom. (See my previously posted bedroom inspiration board for reference). I plan to continue looking around a bit more but here’s what I’m loving so far:

This duvet set is by Mirabello via Bluefly. It’s 100% cotton sateen and is Italian made. I love the modern looking light blue border. A queen set with shams included costs $260.

This duvet set is by Italian bedding line Bellino and is made of 100% Egyptian cotton. These are a bit more classic and I love the navy blue piping. A queen set is $395 at Bluefly.

This sateen duvet set, is also by Bellino and available at Bluefly. They’re made of 100% Egyptian cotton and a queen set costs $455.99. A bit pricey but I really love the color. This set is ivory with chocolate trim which might look a bit warmer on my bed than a crisp white style.

I love love love this Corner Key sateen bedding from WS Home. Very classic. Made of 100% Egyptian cotton, manufactured in Italy and can be monogrammed if desired. The duvet and shams are sold separately. A full/queen sized duvet costs $348 and standard sized shams are $98 each.

This is another style that might have influenced me to look beyond crisp white. The Ikat duvet cover and shams you see here are from WS Home. I love the light blue color. A full/queen duvet is $398 and the standard sized shams are $88 each. The rug I recently purchased for my bedroom has an ethnic print and I like the idea of mixing prints and patterns. This ikat print is rather subtle and I think it would contrast nicely with the print on my rug as well as with the rest of the decor in my room.

This Classic Greek Key bedding is also from WS Home and I really love this look. These bed linens are white Egyptian cotton with blue Greek key embroidery. The full/queen duvet is $348 and standard shams are $98 each.
