Last week dreams came true for design lovers everywhere when Domino magazine – which folded in 2009 in the midst of a tough economic climate – officially relaunched! The Holiday 2013 issue is on newsstands NOW! It’s hard to believe it’s been four years because the “new” Domino is just as familiar and inspiring as ever. There are a few changes from the previous iteration however. Instead of monthly the magazine is now a quarterly print publication with a robust online presence… and the best part is that now it’s completely shoppable – you’ll be able to purchase all of the stylish products featured in the magazine’s pages right from Domino.com which makes getting the look so accessible!

The updated “Domino Manifesto”

Michelle Adams who previously worked at Domino a market assistant and then went on to found Lonny as the first successful online shelter magazine Domino’s new Editor-in-Chief. As the pioneer of the online shelter magazine, Michelle is truly an Editor-in-Chief for the digital generation. I noticed that she even updated the original Domino Manifesto to include a line about how technology is bringing the world of design to our fingertips – which illustrates this point perfectly. I can’t wait to see all of the awesome things she has in store for the the all-new Domino!

What I loved most about the old Domino is that it was not only inspiring but also completely down to earth and made the process of decorating feel fun and approachable. Before the magazine folded I was OBSESSED with it! I lived for the day a new issue would arrive in my mailbox and when my subscription copy didn’t arrive on time, I’d buy one off the newsstand simply because I couldn’t wait.

  1. Such fun news that Domino is back. On a different note -that’s a fantastic picture of you. I love the blue and pink combo.

  2. I absolutely love Domino. I got introduced to it this Summer with their Small Spaces issues. It’s an editorial inspiration. I need to go to Barnes & Noble ASAP and pick this up.
