I adore these metallic double-banded tumblers from West Elm. What really makes these special is the fact that they’re monogrammable. These are so perfect for a stylish entertainer to serve drinks in at his or her next cocktail party. These would also make a great gift. Who doesn’t love anything with their monogram on it? Totally chic! And you can’t beat the price…just $24 for a set of four!…

The current issue of Western Interiors features a gorgeous Mexican beach house that was decorated by Chicago based designer Kara Mann. Above is the living room which epitomizes the phrase casual elegance. I’m especially loving the custom pillow done in Donghia’s suzani printed fabric. The beautiful house is located in San Jose del Cabo and features a neutral color palette infused with vibrant pops of color and eye catching ethnic textiles. In total there are 10 pages of photos devoted to this space in the magazine. You will die when you see the incredible ocean views! Definitely worth picking up …

(See below for photographic record of Eddie’s many talents.) I’m also utterly obsessed with his blog. It’s filled with lots of inspiration and allows us the opportunity to follow him around the city as he shops the flea …

Last week I blogged about my desire for a house in the country but since the possibility of owning a country home is not in my immediate future, I’ll just have to live vicariously through the lives of others…like Paul Siskin of the design firm Siskin Valls.

Paul is currently in the midst of building a country home from the ground up and is documenting the process on his blog on Interior Design Magazine’s website.

Above is a model of what his dream country retreat will look like when it’s finished. This is the view from the back. It’s …
