The view of Le Sereno & its beach from my room’s terrace…wish I was there again!

Yesterday was absolutely freezing in New York! The low was 19 degrees but with the wind chill it felt more like 7 (Do I sound like a weatherman?!). Today isn’t much warmer. As you could imagine, being outside in this weather is completely miserable! Makes me want to get the hell out of here and jet off to someplace warm and fabulous like the fashionable, tropical island of St. Barths, where I visited this past December. I’ve been there twice and both times I …

Don’t you just love The Sartorialist? I visit the site nearly every day and find it such an endless source of fashion inspiration. I especially love it when Scott Schuman, the photographer behind the blog, shoots pictures of all of the stylish fashion show attendees for Style.com during Fashion Week in New York, Milan & Paris. To most people, the trend-setters he snaps are just anonymous faces but to me (a fashion publicist if you didn’t already know) they’re my colleagues and friends in the industry…Editors, stylists, models and other movers and shakers that keep the business of fashion …

I LOVE LOVE LOVE fashion designer Rachel Roy! I recently read that she and her hip hop hubby Damon Dash sold their 7,000 square foot Beverly Hills home which was profiled in the Spring 2005 issue of InStyle Home. The Spanish style house was decorated by Martyn Lawrence-Bullard who has designed homes for a bevy of celebs and trend-setters including Christina Aguilera, Edward Norton, Rebecca Romijn and Jimmy Choo CEO Tamara Mellon.

The …

Today I picked up the March issue of InStyle and was very surprised when I flipped to the Life & Home section and saw celebutante Nicky Hilton’s LA abode. I don’t think her personal style is all that remarkable so I would have never imagined that I’d actually like her decorating style.

I would describe the decor of her 1950s four bedroom home as rock chick meets Hollywood glamour. The house features dark wood floors with a black & white color palette in most of the rooms. Her  grandmother, an interior designer, helped her conceptualize the overall design scheme and …

“Parasol,” “Chic” & “Little Black Dress”

One of the best gifts I received this past Christmas was a set of super chic personalized note cards from my good friend Marissa. They’re by a fashionable new paper goods line called Inslee. The stationery features stylish illustrations by Inslee Haynes, the designer of the line who, by the way, is still a senior in college! If only I was that ambitious in my younger days! I’m absolutely obsessed with the Parasol, Chic and Little Black Dress designs. They’re perfect for writing thank you’s to all of my fashion friends and they …
